| Biology is more than tests and quizzes, more than naming the parts of a flower; it is the study of life. I believe all students can gain something valuable from such study. Every student has a story; every student is a story. I want to be a teacher to discover those stories. The academic goal of success for all goes without saying, but the equally important goal of self-discovery also deserves consideration. Education is as much about growing as a person, which includes mental, emotional, and social growth, as it is about academic learning. |
